It's the last day of February, and our March 9th reading clubs are nearly full, so submit your RSVP today!
You'll get to read to the kids and enjoy the musical performances at each school!
(If you have signed up for the March reading clubs but can't make it after all, please go here to cancel to open your spot to someone else.)
CRAFTS & READING GUIDE MEETING
THIS SUNDAY, 3/3
Are you crafty? This Sunday, March 3, join the
Curriculum Committee meeting at 12:30pm in the Reading to Kids offices to help create the activity and craft guides for the March books! Our address is 1600 Sawtelle Blvd, Suite 210, Los Angeles, CA 90025.

Operations Committee meeting next Thursday, March 7th, at 7pm in the Reading to Kids office (or call in to the meeting at 310-853-1508).

Next week for an hour or two between 7:30am and 2:30pm,
we need your
help conducting quick classroom walk-throughs to encourage kids
to come to this Saturday's reading clubs.

Reading to Kids as they run the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon on
March 24th!
They have until March 24th to reach their $20,000 fundraising goal! If you can donate a buck a mile
to your favorite runner, you'll help fuel them towards the finish line!
With every mile they train and every dollar they raise, these valiant souls help you inspire kids with a love of reading.
HAND OUT WATER DURING THE RACE!
Help represent Reading to Kids during the marathon by handing out water to the runners! You get a free LA Marathon t-shirt, too.
Our group will be at Water Station Mile 5 at Glendale Blvd., between Bellevue and Kent St. in Echo Park, on Sunday, March 24th from 5am - 11am.

SILENT AUCTION ITEMS,

Our 20th Anniversary Celebration, Comedy Night, & Silent Auction is set for
May 11th, and we need your help finding sponsors and gathering items for our silent auction that night!
To help you get started, here is an explanation of our sponsorship opportunities.
For silent auction items, here is information about Reading to Kids to share with potential donors, as well as a donation form for them to complete.
We especially enjoy awarding gift certificates,
amusement park and theater tickets, gift bags, and
autographed items! Anything unique is great, too!
If you work at or have a connection with products or services to offer, or can reach out to businesses to sponsor the event, then please help by asking for a donation to our anniversary.
