How to Help by Donating

Financial support from foundations, corporations, organizations, and individuals allows Reading to Kids to maintain and expand the reading club program, purchase teacher-selected books for elementary school libraries in low-income communities, and fund book donations directly to children to aid them in developing their own home libraries.

	•	In honor of...	Click here to donate in honor of a friend or family member (by check or credit card).
	•	Check	To donate by mailing us a check, please send your check to: Reading to Kids, 1600 Sawtelle Blvd., Suite 210, Los Angeles, CA 90025. OPTIONAL:  Click here to email us at donation@readingtokids.org and tell us your name and address and the amount you are donating.
	•	Online (debit or credit card)	Donate via If using the PayPal app on your phone, send money to paypal@readingtokids.org
	•	Venmo	Donate via Our Venmo is @readingtokids (You may need to press the "Charities" button to find us.)
	•	Recurring Credit Card	Click here if you would like to set up a recurring credit card donation using Network for Good. (Please note that Network for Good deducts 4.75% for its costs.)
	•	eBay Listing	Click here if you would like to list an item on eBay through their GivingWorks program and donate some or all of the proceeds to Reading to Kids.
	•	Grocery Store Card	Click here to learn how to register, at no cost to you, your grocery store club cards through Ralphs and eScrip so that participating retailers will contribute a portion of your purchases to Reading to Kids.

Reading to Kids also accepts vehicle donations. We have established an arrangement with Donate For Charity to process our vehicle donations. They will arrange a free vehicle pickup, handle all the DMV issues, sell the vehicle at auction, and distribute the net proceeds to Reading to Kids. You'll avoid the headache of selling a used vehicle, help support Reading to Kids, and receive a receipt entitling you to a tax deduction as permitted by law.

Reading to Kids is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation under the laws of the state of California and has been classified as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the federal Internal Revenue Code. The organization is exempt from both state and federal taxes; our tax ID number is 95-4758698.
