Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
Tenth Street here we come!
With less than two days to go until the reading clubs, we have 363 volunteers signed up and our January 13th reading clubs are full!
We anticipate cancellations between now and Friday, so if you would like to volunteer this Satuday, I encourage you to keep checking the website before our sign up deadline (3PM Friday) to see if spaces have opened up: click here to see if there are spaces available.
Many thanks to everyone who has signed up in the last couple days and to those of you who have passed on information about the reading clubs to friends and family! We are excited to see that in just two days, over 100 volunteers signed up! Many of them mentioned friends, family, or groups that encouraged them to volunteer.
A special thanks goes to UCLA Chi Alpha Delta for signing up 22 volunteers, UCLA Bruincorps for signing up 18 volunteers, and UCLA Alpha Lambda Delta & Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies for signing up 15 volunteers for their first reading clubs!
