VOLUNTEER WITH READING TO KIDS AT THE LOS ANGELES TIMES FESTIVAL OF BOOKS!
Come join us at the 11th Annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books (view website) on Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30, 2006 at UCLA. We will be reaching out to thousands of passionate readers to help bring our Saturday reading clubs to more and more children.
We are assembling a team of volunteers to volunteer at our booth on Saturday and Sunday. Our booth is almost full for Saturday, but we still need a lot of volunteers for Sunday!

JOIN READING TO KIDS FOR DINNER!
The Reading to Kids Social Committee is planning an R2K Dinner at El Torito in Santa Monica. The dinner will be a social event, and the restaurant has agreed to donate 25% of the proceeds to R2K! The details are below. Friends and family are welcome...the more the merrier!
