Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
This past Saturday we had 811 kids, 391 volunteers,
91 parents, and 25 teachers & staff
join us for our April reading clubs!
We also gave away our 30,000th hardcover, read-aloud book to our schools' libraries! Keep checking our

Instagram for more photos of our volunteers celebrating this milestone!
Because we never read aloud the same book twice, since we began in May 1999 we have read aloud and then donated
1,362 different titles that continue to have an impact at each of our partner schools!
Our next reading clubs are Fantasy, Folklore, & Fairytales on May 12th!

L.A. Times Festival of Books is this weekend on the
University of Southern California campus. Celebrate the
year's largest literary event with Reading to Kids!

DRAG QUEEN BINGO

Legendary Bingo at
Hamburger Mary's in West Hollywood!
The drinks are strong, the drag queen bingo is "R" rated,
and seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your seat in advance!
