What a morning we had! This past Saturday's reading clubs were the second-most successful September in Reading to Kids history!  1,192 kids, 405 volunteers, 198 parents, and 25 teachers & staff joined us, and thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, we enjoyed giving a school supply to every child in attendance!

On Saturday, October 12th we expect to have even bigger clubs with even more kids! Please click here to sign up, and encourage a friend or two to volunteer with you as we explore "Halloween, Mysteries, and Magic."

October is always one of our most popular reading clubs of the year, so we will need hundreds more volunteers! After you sign up, please also reply to our October 12th Facebook Event that you are going.

We will have added hocus pocus with special magic shows at each school. We also encourage everyone to wear fun, school-appropriate Halloween costumes!

If you are at least 21 years old, join Reading to Kids volunteers and their friends for a night of rock n' roll dueling pianos at Howl at the Moon, Hollywood in Universal City!

If you haven't been to Howl at the Moon before then you are in for a treat. There are two pianos and a group of musicians who alternate instruments and vocals. Sing, dance, and howl the night away as great musicians take requests and perform your favorite songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and today on pianos, guitars, and more!

Tell them you are supporting Reading to Kids and your $10 donation/cover charge goes to us, and your first two drinks are only 50¢ each.
