How You Can Help!

1 - Make a pledge to donate by check or donate online today by visiting our 2012 Annual Fund Drive. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated and urgently needed!

2 - Show your support by asking friends and family to contribute! Visit our 2012 Annual Fund Drive page and look under the "Help us Fundraise!" header for resources, including information on creating your own personalized fundraising page, our handy donor form for raising money with your friends and co-workers, tips for fundraising, and so much more.

3 - Ask your employer if they make matching donations or want to donate to a great cause! We have so far received matching donations from Clark Construction, Occidental Petroleum Corporation, The Capital Group Companies Charitable Foundation, the BAMKO Foundation, and the Yahoo! Matching Gifts Program, all through the efforts and requests of our volunteers who work for those companies.

Perhaps your employer will match your donation to Reading to Kids, or is looking for a great cause to support before the end of the year.  All you have to do is ask today!

The new year is just a few days away, which means our January 12th Reading Clubs are closer than you think!

January's book selections are all about "Discovery and Adventure", and we need more volunteer explorers to help lead the way with the children on the 12th.

Please sign up today, then reply to our January 12th Facebook Event that you are going.  In this way your friends can see you are attending the reading clubs, and you can help spread the word by inviting them to join, too.

At the January 12th Reading Clubs we are giving away to one lucky kid at each school a refurbished computer!

Thanks to volunteers Asim Rasheed and Jerry Tung, we have those seven computers ready, but we still need more mice for a few of them. If you or your employer have any spare mice, we could really use them!
