Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
This month, 974 kids, 362 volunteers, 222 parents, and 33 teachers & staff helped to make our November reading clubs a
spirited success!
November's College Spirit Day welcomed volunteers from over 60 schools, from Boston to Buffalo to
Boise! The colors have been counted, the numbers have been tallied, and here are the results:
Local:
1st place: UCLA (54 volunteers)
2nd place: USC (23 volunteers)
3rd place: Claremont Colleges (15 volunteers)
California (non-local):
1st place (TIE): Stanford and UC Berkeley (16 volunteers)
Out of State:
1st place: University of Illinois (4 volunteers)

CALLING ALL INTERNS!
If you, or someone you know, can give us the gift of time it would be greatly appreciated. There's always lots to do in the Reading to Kids offices! This a great opportunity for college students to hone up on office and administrative skills. But you don't have to be in college to help out -- if you have the time, we have the place!
