Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
Currently all the volunteer spots for November's "Fun and Games!" reading clubs are full! As we get closer to the reading club date we do get cancellations, so check back
here the week of November 8th.
For those of you signed up, don't forget to wear your college
sweatshirt because November is College Spirit month. We'll be watching, and we'll let you know which school brings the most spirit!
We love to give our kids something special from a college for them to keep. If you, or anyone you know, has access to college stickers, pins, pencils, or any other small item (in quantities of 30 or more), please call Skylar at (310) 479-7455.

THE ANNUAL FUND DRIVE NEEDS YOU!
Why? Because kids need access to books and Reading to Kids makes sure all our participants go home with a book of their own. This just published research study emphatically concluded, "Giving children access to print materials is associated with positive behavioral, educational, and psychological outcomes."
