Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
On September 8th, we welcomed 1159 kids, 382 volunteers, and 243 parents to our "Fantasy, Folklore, and Fairy Tales" reading clubs! Our new partner school, Los Angeles Elementary, held their first reading clubs with 157 kids and 51 parents!
Thanks to all of the volunteers who worked so hard to make this a successful morning. Click here to see this month's recap.

2007 ANNUAL FUND DRIVE: SHARE THE POWER OF READING!
Reading to Kids kicked off our 2007 Annual Fund Drive at the September Reading Clubs! From now until November 10th, you will have the opportunity to help inspire underserved children with a love of reading by making your own donation to Reading to Kids.
Both your volunteer time and your financial support are critical to the success of Reading to Kids! By making a donation of any amount, you are helping to share the power of reading with the kids and families at our partner schools. This year, our goal is to raise $35,000 from 600 donors.
Please consider participating in our Annual Fund Drive and helping this organization grow. To join your fellow volunteers in donating to Reading to Kids, please click here. For information or materials to help you fundraise for Reading to Kids, click here.

OCTOBER READING CLUBS: MAGICIANS AND READERS NEEDED!
Click here to sign up for our October 13th Reading Clubs! Our theme is "Halloween, Magic, and Mysteries."
To help bring our theme to life, we will be featuring a live magic show during the close of the reading clubs! We are still looking for magicians to perform. Click here to see who is already helping out, and contact Sarah.Kolterman@readingtokids.org if you are able and willing to perform!
