Iliza Shlesinger - 2008 winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing"
Shang - featured on "Comics Unleashed" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson"
Bob Oschack - regular at The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, and Improv and former writer with "The Best Damn Sports Show Period."
Mike Phirman - half of the comedy duo Hard n Phirm appearing on VH1’s I Love the [insert Generation X Demographic Era] and "Comedy Central Presents Hard n Phirm."

CROSSWORDS LOS ANGELES TOURNAMENT
Volunteers Needed
The first annual Crosswords Los Angeles Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 25th with proceeds supporting Reading to Kids. The tournament is for puzzlers with a broad range of skills - prizes will be awarded in several categories.
Online registration has ended, but you can still sign up at the door.
They are also looking for volunteers from 10:45 - 12:30 and 1:15 - 2:45. Contact Jessica.Tritsch@readingtokids.org to sign up!
What: One day. Five puzzles. Lunch.
When: April 25th, 2009, 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Loyola Marymount University, Hilton 100
Cost: $25 in advance for competitors ($20 for students), $20 for spectators

FESTIVAL OF BOOKS
Reading to Kids will be joining thousands of community members, hundreds of organizations, and scores of authors at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.
The Festival of Books is America's largest book festival and takes place once a year on the UCLA campus. The event is free and open to the public on Saturday, April 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reading to Kids will be at Booth 137 in Zone A. We still have a couple of volunteer spots available, click here to see the volunteer shifts.
