Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
Reading to Kids is delighted to welcome Rachel Zwass as our new Program Coordinator!
Rachel graduated from UCLA this past June with a degree in Sociology. While at UCLA, Rachel was the president of the Student Coalition for Marriage Equality. As president, Rachel managed a six-person board and volunteer group in planning and executing educational events and rallies for the UCLA community.
Some of you may already know Rachel as a volunteer! Rachel has volunteered as a reader, GLC, and Training Coordinator since November 2007. She also interned with Reading to Kids during the fall of 2007, helping with reading club preparations and coordinating College Spirit Day activities. Needless to say, her volunteer recruitment and program management skills fit perfectly with what we do at Reading to Kids. Rachel can be reached at Rachel.Zwass@readingtokids.org.
Welcome, Rachel!

SECOND PROGRAM COORDINATOR POSITION AVAILABLE
Reading to Kids is excited to announce that we have decided to hire a second Program Coordinator! As we have grown to eight schools, it has become clear that we will need more than just two employees if we want to continue our expansion.
As one of three paid employees of the agency, the Program Coordinator will have an exceptional opportunity to work with a grassroots nonprofit organization. This position offers the opportunity to help direct the grown of Reading to Kids and to bring the joy of reading to many more children in Los Angeles.
