Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
Thanks to everyone who has signed up for the March 8th reading clubs! If you haven't done so already, click here to sign up soon; volunteer spots are filling up fast!
The March Reading Clubs will feature a "Music" theme. We are excited to announce that we will have musical performances at all seven schools this month!
VOLUNTEER FOR READ ACROSS AMERICA
The National Education Association's Read Across America is an annual celebration of literacy that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday.
Hoover Elementary, Los Angeles Elementary, Politi Elementary, and White Elementary will be celebrating Read Across America and they need your help! They are looking for volunteers to spend a couple of hours reading aloud to students.
HOOVER

JOIN US FOR A NIGHT OF BOWLING
Come out to beautiful Santa Monica on the evening of Sunday, March 16th and join your fellow volunteers for a FUNtastic evening of bowling.
It's Dollarmania! from 8:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. at the Bay Shore Lanes in Santa Monica. After a $10 admission/cover charge, it's just $1 for shoe rentals and $1 per person per game! So join us for some ear-shattering strikes, eye-popping spares, and yes, even some excruciating gutter balls!
We'll reserve a few lanes in advance, so please RSVP if you plan to attend!
