BE A READING TO KIDS SUPERHERO!

You can be a hero by helping us inspire underserved kids with a love of reading!

So far, we've raised $8,346 from 116 donors, but we still have a long way to go to reach our goal of $35,000 from 600 donors.

Ask your friends, family and coworkers to join in our mission by making a contribution to Reading to Kids. Supporters who collect 10 donations of any size will be recognized on our website as a Reading to Kids Superhero!

To get started, you can use our Reading to Kids Superhero form, or create your own personalized fundraising page on www.firstgiving.com. Click here for additional resources including fundraising tips, FAQs, a sample e-mail, and more!

You can also share the power of reading by making your own donation to our Annual Fund Drive. To join your fellow volunteers in donating to Reading to Kids, please click here.

NOVEMBER 10TH READING CLUBS: COLLEGE SPIRIT DAY!

November marks the middle of college football season, and in the spirit of healthy competitions (including the big crosstown  rivalries between UCLA and USC), our November reading clubs will once again feature a fun "College Spirit Day" competition.  Students and alumni are encouraged to wear their favorite school's t-shirt or sweatshirt to show off their school pride and the value of a college eduation.  Click here to join us for this fun day filled with books about "Sports, Games, and Hobbies!"
