SAMPLE RECRUITMENT E-MAIL
Join Reading to Kids on September 8th for a morning of reading, crafts, and inspiration!
Reading to Kids’ mission is to inspire underserved children with a love of reading. On the second Saturday of each month, Reading to Kids conducts reading clubs at seven Los Angeles area elementary schools. At the reading clubs, volunteers receive training and breakfast on-site, then pairs of volunteers are matched with 4 to 8 children and spend about an hour and a half reading aloud to the kids and working on a craft project. Volunteers are in by 9 and out by 12!
This is a fun and easy way to help out in the community! Please sign up for this opportunity on our website at www.readingtokids.org. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Reading to Kids at (310) 479-7455.
