Sign up today to join Reading to Kids at L.A. Works Day 2007! Volunteers from across Los Angeles will congregate at Cal Plaza downtown before heading out to volunteer sites all over the city. L.A. Works will accept registrations until Monday morning (5/28).
Reading to Kids is working with the L.A. Works staff to arrange for a special project for the Reading to Kids team in memory of our long-time volunteer (also an L.A. Works volunteer and elementary school teacher) Helga Hung. Our team will do projects at a local school - interactive activities with the kids, painting, landscaping, etc. Your effort will be rewarded afterward with great food and live music.
