FEBRUARY READING CLUBS AND BOOKS
It's hard to believe, but February is right around the corner! Sign up to join us at the February 10th "Friendship"-themed reading clubs. Click here to sign up!
Friendship is a great theme for children's books, and this month's books will be fun for students and volunteers alike!
- Do you remember Frog and Toad from when you were in elementary school? Come relive these fond memories with the 2nd graders and Arnold Lobel's Frog and Toad Together!
- It is always fun to see a Judy Blume book on our list! This month, 4th graders will hear all about Peter Hatcher and his younger brother Fudge as they adjust to life in a new town with a new sibling in Blume's Superfudge.
- Who would have ever thought that a spider and a fly would be best friends? First graders will find out what life is like from a spider's perspective in Diary of a Spider by best-selling author Doreen Cronin.
You won't want to miss these great stories in February! For a complete listing of the February books along with discussion and craft ideas, please click here.

WELCOME NEW GROUPS!
Reading to Kids relies on hundreds of volunteers each month to make our reading clubs a success. Many of these volunteers hear about the reading clubs from alumni groups, community organizations, campus clubs, or company newsletters.
Reading to Kids thanks new volunteer groups Arizona State University Alumni - LA Chapter and UCLA Pi Kappa Alpha for recruiting their members to the February Reading Clubs. Thirteen ASU Alumni members and nine UCLA Pi Kappa Alpha members have already signed up this month, and more are sure to join us!
If you have a connection with a business, alumni association, campus group, or other organization whose members might enjoy volunteering with Reading to Kids, start recruiting now! To sign your group up as a volunteer group, e-mail Sarah.Kolterman@readingtokids.org or call (310) 479-7455.
