Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
This past Saturday, 326 volunteers each gave three hours of their time to read to a whopping 1,301 kids, making the December reading clubs our best attended event in Reading to Kids history! Click here to see who volunteered.
This was a fantastic finish to a year in which you helped us give out 8,845 books to children and their families, 1,375 books to teachers, and 1,335 library-bound books to our five participating Los Angeles schools' libraries!

Reading to Kids has spring (and summer) internship opportunities!
Learn the ins and outs of running a small non-profit and enjoy a relaxed and fun working environment by joining Reading to Kids as an intern! Interns support the day-to-day operations of the office in addition to taking on individual, long-term projects. Projects include but are not limited to: grant-writing, program evaluation, volunteer coordination, recruitment material design, community and school relations, and reading club operations.
