Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,

Happy New Year of reading as we finally have our blue skies back!

This Saturday's "Mysteries & New Adventures" reading clubs are probably filled, but we always expect a few cancelations today and tomorrow - so all day today and until 3pm tomorrow, please keep checking back at www.readingtokids.org to see if any new spots have opened! clock icon

(If you have signed up and can't make it after all, please cancel your RSVP online immediately to make room for another volunteer.)

This Saturday's reading clubs are smaller since most of the kids are still on their three-week Winter Break.

GLCS, TRAINING COORDINATORS,
CHECK-IN HELPERS, AND
SITE OPERATIONS HELPERS

This Saturday is the perfect time for those who have volunteered with us a few times recently to step into and learn any of our important Operations roles - all training very pleasantly provided!  tree branch icon tree branch icon

Reading to Kids Annual Fund Drive

You've all done it again! Thanks to the support of so many of you, our 2025 Annual Fund Drive was another huge success for us, with 389 donors helping us raise $81,996!

We still expect a few more checks in the mail and more corporate matching donations, but already this is our second year in a row raising more than $80,000 - all thanks to your individual and collective efforts to support reading to children!

Our very special thanks go out to our five fundraising Angels:

Courtney Smythe
Jessica Chong
Matthew Jones
Romi Boucher
Mark May

Click here to see how much each raised – together they raised $11,778 from 54 donors!

Finally, we extend our deep appreciation to all our AFD Speakers who helped raise these critical funds over the last three reading clubs!
