THANK YOU, UCLA OCHC, FOR COLORING BOOKS AT THE MARCH READING CLUBS!

Click on each photo above to see a larger version.
We extend a huge thank you to UCLA's On-Campus Housing Council (OCHC) for donating 600 custom-designed coloring books for the kids at our March reading clubs two weeks ago!
Titled "A Starlight Symphony," click on the above images to see these amazing coloring books, created entirely by UCLA students through collaborative art sessions and pop-up events hosted by OCHC.
Their goal was to bring a little extra joy to the kids who attend our reading clubs, and they did just that. The kids absolutely loved them and wasted no time filling the pages with color!
That's UCLA OCHC members Abhi Singh and Maya Viramontes with Reading to Kids Program Coordinator Anna Davies in the bottom right photo.
We're so grateful to UCLA OCHC for their generosity, creativity, and for partnering with Reading to Kids on such a meaningful project!

APRIL 12TH READING CLUBS
We still have a handful of volunteer reader spots open for our April 12th "People & Places Around the World" clubs, so
click here to submit your RSVP!
We are especially looking for experienced volunteers to be "roaming readers" at MacArthur Park Elementary that morning. Roaming readers travel to multiple classrooms to read aloud to students in Saturday School for 20 - 30 minutes in each Saturday School classroom. They won't do crafts with the kids, but they still give each kid their own prize book, and their teacher remains in the classroom, too.
This is a great way to read to kids who probably don't come to our reading clubs! E-mail us at info@readingtokids.org if you are an experienced reader who wants to fill this role!

3 COMPUTERS OR TABLETS WANTED TO GIVE TO KIDS!
At our April reading clubs we would love to give away a computer or iPad/tablet to one lucky kid at each school.
If you or your employer have any working computers that are less than 6 years old running Windows 10 or later, or any Macintosh computers less than 7 years old, or any iPads or similar tablets, we can give them to deserving kids!
We especially need working computers (CPUs), whether or not they come with monitors, keyboards, etc. Please email us at
info@readingtokids.org to help make a kid very happy!

Thank you to everyone involved in fundraising for Team Reading to Kids! We're so close to hitting our goal of $20,000!
Our runners already did the hard part, now it's up to you to donate and help them reach the fundraising finish line! Every dollar supports our reading clubs and helps inspire kids with a love of reading.
