STEP INTO A BIGGER VOLUNTEER ROLE
AT OUR APR. 13TH READING CLUBS

We also need more of our experienced volunteers to help train new and returning volunteers, be a GLC, or especially be a second or third Site Operations Helper at any of our schools.

Reading to Kids turns 25 years old at our May 11th reading clubs, and tickets are available for our celebration event that evening!

Our party is French Quarter / Mardi Gras / New Orleans themed as we enjoy casino table games at the beautiful Historic Woman's Club in Santa Monica!

We'll have New Orleans-style food, raffle prizes and packages to win, a live DJ, a 360° camera photo booth, and casino table games to play for fun and raffle tickets!

Enjoy Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Poker, delicious food & drinks, and an opportunity to socialize with your fellow Reading to Kids volunteer and supporters!

Tickets are $40 online before 2pm on 5/11/24, $45 at the door while tickets last. ****Guests must be 18 and over.****

Reading to Kids' Legendary Bingo fundraiser at Hamburger Mary's in West Hollywood

Our next fundraising events will be on May 11th and on October 2nd, so we need your help gathering more prizes for raffles, silent auctions, and bingo winners!

To help you get started, here is information about Reading to Kids to share with potential donors, as well as a donation form for them to complete.

We especially enjoy awarding gift certificates, amusement park and theater tickets, gift bags, and autographed items! Anything unique is great, too!

If you work at or have a connection with products or services to offer, please help us by asking for a donation to our events.

You may have gift cards you haven't used which would make excellent prizes if you'd like to donate them to us! E-mail us at info@readingtokids.org to arrange mailing them to us!

HELP OUR MARATHON & 5K RUNNERS
REACH THEIR FUNDRAISING GOAL!

Team Reading to Kids is still recovering from running 320 miles back on 3/16 and 3/17 at the 2024 Los Angeles Marathon and Big 5K!

Head over to the bottom of their website to see a slideshow of our runners before, during, and after their races!

They have now raised $11,883, and you can still donate to their fundraising page to help them reach their ambitious $20,000 goal!
