Our March 10th reading clubs are this Saturday!
As we do every March, we have talented, generous musicians joining us at each school.

Bagel Runner at Alta Loma or Politi (picking up from
a shop just south of LAX at 5pm tomorrow)

Reading to Kids as they run the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon on
March 18th!
So far they have raised $8,640 while training for hundreds of miles. They have just 11 more days to reach their $20,000 fundraising goal! If you can donate a buck a mile
to your favorite runner, you'll help fuel them towards the finish line!
With every mile they train and every dollar they raise, these valiant souls help you inspire kids with a love of reading.
HAND OUT WATER DURING THE RACE!
Help represent Reading to Kids during the marathon by handing out water to the runners! You get a free LA Marathon t-shirt, too, as explained at
their volunteer FAQ.
Our group will be at Water Station Mile 5 at Glendale Blvd., between Bellevue and Kent St. in Echo Park, on Sunday, March 18th from 5am - 11am.

For example, over the last 12 years three of our volunteers helped us receive $196,000 in grants from their employers!
Please check to see if your employer offers grants to which
Reading to Kids can apply, and let us know at info@readingtokids.org -
you may help us buy thousands of books for kids while making a great impression on your employer!
