Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,

We saw hundreds of super volunteers and kids at our June 14th "Super Heroes and Super People" Reading Clubs!  390 students, 264 volunteers, 40 parents, and 18 teachers and staff celebrated the start of their summer together with fantastic books!

Help us encourage more great summer reading by signing up for our July 12th "Independence and Growing Up" Reading Clubs TODAY. The summer reading clubs are small and their spots fill up extra quickly, so be sure to sign up ASAP.

After you sign up, please visit our Facebook event so your friends will see that you're attending and you can invite others to join you!

THANK YOU TO OUR WONDERFUL
2013-14 INTERNS!

Did you know that much of the smooth-running logistics of our events and monthly reading clubs is made possible by a small, dedicated group of office interns?

If you have ever been impressed with how professional our materials and organizational techniques were over the past school year, you can thank the following interns who volunteered many hours of their time in the Reading to Kids offices this school year:

Fall Semester Spring Semester Summer
Vanessa Correa Melina Jiang Kristin Jongkobkeait
Leslie Hernandez Caroline Moeller
Carolyn Estrada Rachael Katz
Christian Sanchez

Reading to Kids thanks all of the above for their positive demeanors, dependability, and high-quality work in helping all of us make these the most popular reading clubs in the last four years. We could not have done it without you!

Sincerely,

Charlie Orchard and Hannah Edwards
