Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
We're on the launching pad and counting down to lift-off. This Saturday our reading clubs will take us "From the Earth to the Moon."
Our Saturday reading clubs are currently full, but please continue to
check our website tomorrow before 3 p.m. for openings due to cancellations. If you're already signed up for the reading
clubs and you know you can't make it, be sure to

to open up your spot for someone else.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Reading to Kids will be joining thousands of community members, hundreds of organizations, and scores of
authors at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. America's largest book festival takes place this year on the USC
campus. The event is free and open to the public on Saturday, April 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
and on Sunday, May 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Come and visit Reading to Kids volunteers at Booth 218.
If you enjoy doing crossword puzzles, why not register and try your skill at the Crosswords LA Tournament? It takes place Sunday, May 1st, at Loyola Marymount
and is open to all levels of players. First-timers are welcome!

The Reading to Kids Charity Golf Tournament will be a fun day of golf and networking. It's a scramble tournament, making it easy to play for any level of golfer. Sign up as a team, or register as an individual, and we'll partner you up!
Not a golfer? Join us for the 19th Hole post tournament reception for dinner, raffle, and comedy.

Cost
$190 for tournament (includes greens fees, cart, drinks on the course, and dinner).
$35 for 19th Hole reception/dinner only.
