The December 13th "Winter Wonderland" reading clubs will include a visit from Santa, a holiday raffle for the kids, and fun holiday books and crafts

VOLUNTEER AT ESPERANZA
DECEMBER 15th, 16th, or 17th 
Polar Express Screening

Esperanza Elementary will be showing the movie "Polar Express" on December 15th, 16th, and 17th from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and they are looking for volunteers!  Each day the school has requested 3-4 volunteers to join the children and assist teachers while watching the film.

HOLIDAY HAPPY HOUR
DECEMBER 17th

Join Reading to Kids for a Holiday Happy Hour at the Griffin. Celebrate the holiday season with your friends at Reading to Kids. We'll be there from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. - stop by anytime. Friends & family welcome (21+).

You are also welcome to participate in our Holiday Book Exchange! Bring a favorite book (new or gently used) to give away and leave with a new book of your own.

Drink & Appetizer Specials: $1 off all drinks 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Appetizers from $4 - $9.

OPERATION SANTA VOLUNTEERS NEEDED DECEMBER 24th!

Calling All Santas and Mrs. Clauses!

Operation Santa Claus, a project of the Pasadena Jaycees, brings some Christmas cheer to over 3,500 kids in the Pasadena area by sending volunteers dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus to deliver toys on Christmas Eve.  Volunteers sort toys for children on your route, pack a car full of toys, and deliver them to kids throughout Pasadena and surrounding communities. Each Santa averages about 30 houses.  Toys and wardrobe are provided. No experience necessary!
