Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,

Have you signed up for the June 9th Reading Clubs yet?  If not, click here to submit your RSVP for these "Role Models" themed clubs!

The June reading clubs will be the last of the 2006-2007 school year.  Join us to say goodbye to graduating 5th graders and celebrate the end of school with exciting books, fun arts & crafts, and a computer raffle for all attending students!

LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP FOR L.A. WORKS DAY 2007!

Sign up today to join Reading to Kids at L.A. Works Day 2007!  Volunteers from across Los Angeles will congregate at Cal Plaza downtown before heading out to volunteer sites all over the city.  L.A. Works will accept registrations until Monday morning (5/28).

Reading to Kids is working with the L.A. Works staff to arrange for a special project for the Reading to Kids team in memory of our long-time volunteer (also an L.A. Works volunteer and elementary school teacher) Helga Hung.  Our team will do projects at a local school - interactive activities with the kids, painting, landscaping, etc. Your effort will be rewarded afterward with great food and live music.  The entire family is welcome!  Click here to see who has signed up!

READING TO KIDS SOCIAL EVENT AT DODGER STADIUM

Get your tickets today to Reading to Kids Dodger Game Social Event on July 1st! 

The Sierra Club 20s and 30s Section, who volunteer at Magnolia Elementary, have cordially invited their fellow Reading to Kids volunteers to join them at the July 1st Dodgers Game against the San Diego Padres in celebration of the section's 32nd anniversary.
