Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
The September 9th Reading Clubs are quickly approaching! If you can join us, please click here to submit your RSVP! We still have plenty of open spaces at all schools, so sign yourself up, and invite a friend to join you!
This month's theme is "Fantasy, Folklore, and Fairy Tales," and we have some book selections you're bound to love. First grade will be reading Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems, while 2nd grade will sail away with How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long. Click here for synopses, discussion questions, and craft ideas for this month's books. We hope to see you in September!

PETER AND THE WOLF AT THE SEPTEMBER READING CLUBS
Are you ready to be entertained? Reading to Kids is proud to present musical performances of Peter and the Wolf at the September 9th reading clubs! The first part of the reading clubs (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.) will be spent reading in groups as usual, but this month, groups will meet back at the auditorium at 11:00 a.m. for the concert.
While everyone will enjoy the performance, 3rd grade will have a special chance to prepare by reading Peter and the Wolf by Vladimir Vagin for their read aloud book.
Reading to Kids thanks all the musicians who are participating in this event. For more information on the musicians and the performance, click here.
We hope you will join us for this musical treat! Click here to sign up!
