Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,

Please join R2K next Wednesday for our Second Annual Comedy Night and Silent Auction at the Improv!  If you are planning on joining us, please buy your tickets ahead of time so we can plan for the number of people who will be attending.  There should be tickets available at the door, but the earlier you buy, the easier it is for the committee! :-)

We have a great
lineup of comedians, featuring Andy Kindler, Jackie Kashian, Tom Sharpe, and of course R2K's own Ali Oktay!  The evening will be filled with laughter, as well as opportunities to bid on some great items in our Silent Auction!  Silent Auction items include four tickets to Disneyland, a membership to MOCA, dinner and a movie packages to several fantastic restaurants. . . and the list continues to grow!

Reading to Kids is once again organizing a team of volunteers for L.A. Works Day and we would love to see you there!

To sign up, visit
www.laworks.com and click on the L.A. Works Day 2006 link.  If you are not already an L.A. Works volunteer, you will need to fill out a quick registration form.  After logging in , look for the "Team" section and opt to "Join a public team."  Select "Reading to Kids - L.A. Works Day 2006."
