The April Reading Clubs will feature an "Environment" theme, and we are reading some fantastic books including My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George in 5th grade and The Sea, the Storm, and the Mangrove Tangle by Lynne Cherry in 1st grade. Discussion and craft ideas for each book will be posted on our website later this week!
TAKE A HIKE WITH READING TO KIDS!
Spring has sprung, and it?s the perfect time for hiking. Come join Reading to Kids as we enjoy beautiful red rock formations and fabulous mountain views.
Location: Red Rock Canyon
When: Saturday, April 1st, 10 a.m..

Getting there: Go North on PCH to the Pacific Palisades. Turn Right onto Topanga Canyon Rd (which becomes South Topanga Canyon Rd) for approx. 1.5 miles. Continue on left fork to Old Topanga Canyon Rd for 1.8 miles. Take a Left onto Red Rock Road for 0.8 miles
(road is unpaved)
Good things to bring: Hiking boots, water, sunscreen & a camera. Dogs are allowed on leashes. Friends and family are always welcome!
