Weekly News Update!
August 19, 2004

Hello wonderful volunteers!

We had great Reading Clubs last weekend, with just over 700 kids in attendance and more than 200 volunteers! There are now an average of 675 children who attend the Reading Clubs each month -- thanks for all you do to make these events fun and engaging for our kids!

For a list of the volunteers who joined us at last month's Reading Clubs, please click here. A special thanks this month to our great, dedicated Site Coordinators and Grade Level Coordinators who work so hard to ensure that the Clubs go off without a hitch! If you'd like to get more involved with the administration of the Reading Clubs, please consider joining the R2K Taskforce. Read about the Taskforce by clicking here.
