Synopsis: When a jingling sound wakes her from her sleep, a little girl's dreams come true when she meets a lost reindeer in the forest. They set off on a magical adventure and it becomes a Christmas never to forget.

•  What do you think reindeer do during the fall, spring, and summer?

Vocabulary:

•  crisp - firm but breaking easily into pieces.
•  soared - to fly or glide in a swift, easy way and at a very great height.

Discussion topics for during/after reading:
•  What do you think the jingle, jingle, jingle sound is?
•  Where do you think Ollie and the reindeer are going?
•  Will Ollie and the reindeer see each other again?

Craft ideas:
•  The children can make a collar out of paper plates.
•  The children can use a coffee filter to make snowflakes.
