Synopsis: Lucille Ball could make any situation funny. By making people around the world laugh, she proved that humor can take on anything. She never changed how she behaved to seem "proper," even when other people pressured her to. By remaining true to who she was, she made her mark in comedy and television - even becoming the first female CEO of a major Hollywood studio!

Craft ideas:
•  1) Easy: It is almost Easter! Let’s create a card for someone special such as your moth! Aunt or Teacher. You can include easter eggs, bunny rabbits or flowers on your Happy Easter Holiday card!
Materials needed: Construction paper, slim markers, crayons, stencil, and scissors.
•  2) Easy: Today you are the creator an incredibly special Spring Holiday Basket! What do you enjoy about Spring? Is it the Flowers, the warm weather? Or the arrival of the Easter Bunny? Today you will create your own special basket. Draw all your favorite things you will include in the Basket.
Materials needed: Construction paper, slim markers, crayons, stencil, and scissors.

Special activities:
•  What is your Talent? It is a Talent Show! Each classmate will have 4 minutes to display their talent: that is tell a joke, a funny story, sing a song, or solve a math problem.
Materials needed: Just bring yourself and your Talent

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don't have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
