Discussion topics for before reading:
•  What's your favorite story? Why?
•  Would you like to be in that story? What do you want to do?
•  Tell the original Three Little Pigs story for background.

Discussion topics for during/after reading:
•  What happened to the pig?
•  What do you think happened to the wolf?
•  What stories did they visit?
•  What friends do the pigs make along the way?

Craft ideas:
•  Draw a scene from your favorite story with you as a part of it.
•  Make a copy of a page from the book and color it.

Special activities:
•  Play "Pig, Pig, Wolf!" -- a variation on "Duck, Duck, Goose!"

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don't have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
