Craft ideas: |
• |
Make a sign for your Very Own Room (or if you had your very own room), with how you would decorate it, and what you would put in it.
|
• |
Make a picture frame for your favorite family member, and decorate with pictures from the book. Volunteers, take a piece of construction paper and fold in half, and cut out a block in the middle; unfold, and it's the frame. Glue a paper backing, leaving one side open to slide a picture in. Use the left over block from the middle to make a stand for the frame.

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions.
You can use them, but you don't have to use them.
You can expand upon them, or add your own twist.
Remember, though, that the focus of your time should
not be on the development and execution of a craft;
the focus should be on the read-aloud and the
enjoyment of the book!
