Synopsis: (from the publisher) This light-hearted companion to the Caldecott Honor Book "No, David!" is an entertaining, laugh-out-loud romp from the beginning of class to the end of the day. David's activities in school include chewing gum, talking out of turn, and engaging in a food fight, causing his teacher to say over and over, "No, David!"

Discussion topics: To be posted soon ...

Craft ideas:
•  Photocopy pictures from the book ahead of time. Children can color them in. Make sure to put a star on their work, as David's teacher did!
•  Make a paper plate David face mask or a David puppet to play with.

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don't have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
