There is a new kid in town named Ikarus Jackson. Ikarus has wings, and everybody's treating him like a freak show...Ikarus, however, has a secret admirer. She's shy, but she just loves to watch him fly.

Volunteers, bring in old magazines. Cut out pictures to make collage pictures as in the book. Make a picture of where you would go if you could fly.

Make wings for yourself. Make them a collage from the magazine pictures.

not be on the development and execution of a craft;
the focus should be on the read-aloud and the
enjoyment of the book!
