Synopsis: Rodney Rat, who can't pronounce his r's, is the shyest, most miserable kid in school, until one day he saves his classmates from the mean bully Camilla Capybara.

Discussion topics: To be posted soon ...

Craft ideas:
•  Make mouse ears, and act it out.
•  Was Camilla just a bully? what was she feeling? Tell the story from her perspective.
•  What do you do when you don't understand something? Draw a picture of how Rodney's classmates could have reacted to him.

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don't have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
