Craft ideas: |
• |
Make a rainbow bookmark--use watercolors!
|
• |
What kinds of things use water? Draw a picture of something that uses water, or make a sailboat out of paper and float it on a construction paper ocean.
|
• |
Have each child take on a type of water--pond, storm, river, etc.--and make a construction paper costume for that type, and act out the story.

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions.
You can use them, but you don't have to use them.
You can expand upon them, or add your own twist.
Remember, though, that the focus of your time should
not be on the development and execution of a craft;
the focus should be on the read-aloud and the
enjoyment of the book!
