ADULT SPELLING BEE THIS SUNDAY, MAY 26, 4-6PM IN DOWNTOWN LA - BENEFITTING READING TO KIDS!
If you joined us at our 25th Anniversary Celebration the evening of May 11th, you may have enjoyed beer donated by the Creature Comforts Taproom and Brewery.
They support our mission so much that they have created a 90's-themed adult spelling bee as a fundraiser for Reading to Kids!
Click here for the Eventbrite description. They are located at 1124 San Julian Street Los Angeles, CA 90015, and the spelling bee will go from 4pm - 6pm this Sunday, May 26th. Enter as a contestant at the above Eventbrite link, with an early bird discount of just $8 each for the first 10 to sign up, so grab your spot expeditiously!
$14 entry fee after those early bird spots are filled, with only 20 spots available in total. The event is free to attend if you're only spectating, and they're kid and dog friendly.
All proceeds from entry fees and $1 of every beer sold during the event go towards Reading to Kids. Show up to show off your spelling skills or root for your favorite spellers!
Entrants must be 21+ to participate. One free 10oz beer with entry. No cover and open to all ages to be an audience member and cheer on your favorite contestant!

THANK YOU TO THE ROSE HILLS FOUNDATION
The Rose Hills Foundation has once again chosen to support our program with a $10,000 grant!
This is the 10th grant they have awarded us since 2008, and we deeply appreciate their partnership as we increase the love of books amongst the families we serve.
