Tomorrow for an hour or two between 7:30am and 2:30pm, we need your
help conducting quick classroom walk-throughs to encourage kids to come to
our March 9th reading clubs.
We are especially looking for volunteers who can pass out flyers to parents when school lets out at around 2:15pm tomorrow.
This can be a lot of fun and we'll provide everything you need. Please reply to

Please support Team Reading to Kids as they run the Los Angeles Marathon on March 17th or the LA Big 5K on March 16th!
They have until March 19th to reach their ambitious $20,000 fundraising goal! If you can donate a buck a mile to your favorite runner, you'll help fuel them towards the finish line!
They have been training for months, and so far our runners have raised $6,207 in support of our
monthly reading clubs.
Your donation will make all their months and miles of training pay off in books for the kids we serve!

Our next fundraising events will be on May 11th and in the fall, so we need your help gathering more prizes for raffles, silent auctions, and bingo winners!

We especially enjoy awarding gift certificates,
amusement park and theater tickets, gift bags, and
autographed items! Anything unique is great, too!
