Our "Music & Entertainment" reading clubs on March 9th are only two weeks away, and we need 80 more volunteers.

You can help by joining our March 9th reading club event so your friends will see that on your wall. Then go to our website and sign up with us.

Please tweet, post to Facebook and Instagram, and message your friends that we still need more volunteers.

Please also print out this flyer and post it at your work, school, church, synagogue, mosque, or favorite community bulletin board.

SCHOOL AMBASSADOR SUBCOMMITTEE
MEMBERS NEEDED!

We are forming a Reading to Kids Ambassador Subcommittee!

A Reading to Kids Ambassador has one key role: Conducting classroom walk-throughs. On either the Thursday or Friday before our monthly reading clubs, select schools allow Reading to Kids volunteers to spend an hour or two between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. performing quick classroom walk-throughs.

If you cannot commit to a walk-though, we also need help handing out flyers as parents come to collect their children at the end of the school day. All of this is in hopes that it will encourage students and parents to come to our reading clubs.

Since we only have three employees, we rely on the dedication of our experienced volunteers. We truly think more ambassador help will result in a positive increase in student attendance.

As a member of the Reading to Kids Ambassador Subcommittee, you would not be required to conduct walk-throughs (though that would be great if you could!), but rather work on getting others to become ambassadors who may be interested in going to the schools for walk-throughs. You would also be in a creative and collaborative environment where you can share additional ideas and projects towards increasing student attendance each month.
