Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,

Last Saturday, 441 kids, 220 volunteers, 71 parents, and 25 teachers & staff helped to make our February 10th reading clubs a success!

Kids enjoyed creating Valentine crafts, with one 3rd grade boy at Politi creating a Valentine dragon who breathed fire!

Volunteers Jade Marcelin and Paul Heinzman each brought microscopes for 2nd graders to view a fly's mouth, mosquito larvae, a bee's wing, and other things after reading Rosalind Looked Closer: An Unsung Hero of Molecular Science. Click the below photos to see them full size!

We urgently need experienced volunteers to take on more leadership with us by helping train new and returning volunteers, being a GLC, or especially being a second or third Site Coordinator at any of our schools.

If you can help in any of those roles, please e-mail us at info@readingtokids.org to help create wonderful reading clubs!

Reading to Kids' Legendary Bingo fundraiser at Hamburger Mary's in West Hollywood

Our next fundraising events will be on May 11th and in the fall, so we need your help gathering prizes for silent auctions and bingo winners!

We especially enjoy awarding gift certificates, amusement park and theater tickets, gift bags, and autographed items! Anything unique is great, too!
