Volunteers for our reading clubs must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
A Note About Masks After consulting the principals at our eight partner schools, we and they have agreed to change the mask policy at our reading clubs to
masks strongly encouraged, rather than masks required.
Here is how you can help us meet our commitment to the kids!

your friends know the fun you'll be up to on the 11th!

Whether or not you can volunteer on the 11th,
Tweet @readingtokids, post, and message your
friends and followers. Here's a sample
post you can use:

If you write your own
post, please be sure to include the following two
things:
- The reading clubs are Saturday morning, March 11th, near downtown LA
- Volunteers must sign up online by 3pm on Friday, March 10th, at
www.readingtokids.org
If you have people in mind who you think would really
like to read with us, tag them in your post. It will
alert them to the reading clubs and show up in their
friends' news feeds.

We also need more of our experienced volunteers to help train new and returning volunteers, be a GLC, or especially be a second or third Site Operations Helper
at any of our schools.

Team Reading to Kids in the 2023 Los
Angeles Marathon on Sunday,
March 19th!
This is our 9th time running the marathon, and we're looking for two more marathon runners to join us in one of the best marathons in the country.
If that distance is too daunting, you can join us in the LA Big 5K (that's just 3.1 miles) near Dodger Stadium the day before the marathon on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
You can

Our next Legendary Bingo fundraiser at
Hamburger Mary's in West Hollywood will be on April 26th, and we need your help gathering prizes for the bingo winners!
You may have gift cards you haven't used which would make excellent bingo prizes if you'd like to donate them to us! E-mail us at info@readingtokids.org to arrange mailing them to us!
To help us gather other prizes, here is information about Reading to Kids to share with potential donors, as well as a donation form for them to complete.
We especially enjoy awarding gift certificates,
amusement park and theater tickets, gift bags, and
autographed items! Anything unique is great, too!
