Last Saturday, 364 kids and 191 volunteers joined us for a summer reading adventure, helping make this our biggest July reading clubs in five years!

HIKE WITH READING TO KIDS THIS SATURDAY
Join Reading to Kids for a hike this Saturday, July 18, at Monrovia Canyon Park
(1200 N Canyon Blvd., Monrovia, CA 91016).
We will be meeting at the Entrance Station (in the lower lot) at 9 a.m. Hikers of all ages are encouraged to join us on
this easygoing 3.5-mile roundtrip hike!

BE A READING TO KIDS AMBASSADOR
With the 2015-16 school year beginning soon, we will have
many opportunities for you to help us promote the reading clubs at our partner schools as a Reading to Kids Ambassador.
You
can help out at
Kindergarten Orientations,
Back-to-School-Nights, and with Teacher Breakfast Deliveries.
These events set the course for the rest of the school year
and are a wonderful way to interact with the kids, parents,
and teachers!
