It may be the first day of August, but the weather is definitely showing that the first day of school is just around the corner!
We are looking for volunteers to help us drop off breakfast for the teachers at our schools on August 12th. If you're available to pick up donated bagels the night before and get to one of our schools at 7:30am on Monday morning, we would love your help. Please reply to this email if you're available.
The reading clubs are currently full. If you're signed up but can't join us, please
click here to cancel as soon as possible so that someone else may take your place.
We are once again excited to give away school supplies at the September
14th reading clubs. Last September was such a successful month that our supplies this year are greatly depleted.
This week many stores such as Staples and Target are promoting great back-to-school specials. If you're going to be there anyway, why not pick up a folder or ten?
If you happen to have the following laying around (or want to pick some up
at back-to-school sales), we would love to take them off your hands:
NEW
Erasers (Pearl type)
Mechanical pencils (especially "fun" ones)
Spiral notebooks
Binder folders
Pencil boxes
