Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,

As you celebrate Independence Day, we want to celebrate YOU. One of the greatest forms of independence anyone can have is that of being an independent reader.

By taking the time to read aloud to the kids at our partner schools, you are inspiring children to pick up a book and read for fun, strengthening their literacy skills and building the foundation for their future. Thank you for your continued volunteerism and for the inspiration you give hundreds of children each month.

The reading clubs are currently full. If you're signed up but can't join us, please click here to cancel as soon as possible so that someone else may take your place.

THANK YOU EVERETT AND ALICE HESS FAMILY FUND INC.

We would like to thank the Everett and Alice Hess Family Fund Inc. for their generous donation of $4,500! Their support enables us to share your love of reading with thousands of young students, and helps us put books into the libraries and homes where they are most needed. Our special thanks go out to Reading to Kids volunteers Joanna and Randy Bloomberg for helping secure this donation for us.
