This Saturday we journey to "Faraway Places" at our reading clubs! If you are not signed up with us already, please sign up now so we have enough readers for the hundreds of children we expect on Saturday.

We will also have back-to-school supplies to give away at each school.

If you previously signed up but can not join us after all, be sure to cancel online to open your spot for someone else. Please note that the deadline for canceling is 3pm on Friday.

Plan to join us Tuesday, October 2nd, for our 2012 Benefit Comedy Night and Silent Auction at the Hollywood Improv. We have already posted the first half of a great lineup of comics, and the Special Events Committee is busily gathering items for the Silent Auction.

At the above webpage, tickets are on sale for $35 (+ $4 service charge), and in addition to a night of laughs, dinner in the showroom is included in the ticket price! The Silent Auction will open at 6:00pm, with dinner service starting at 6:30pm, and showtime starting at 7:45pm.

In the past we have had gift certificates, products, services, and tickets to fun events. If you work at or have a connection with a restaurant, retail store, or for a company with products or services to offer, please help us by asking for a donation to our Silent Auction. We are always looking for fun, inventive items to include in our Silent Auction.
