Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
Cloudy skies couldn't keep 763 kids, 370 volunteers, 138 parents, and 22 teachers & staff
away from our College Spirit reading clubs!
Over 50 schools
were represented from Yale to Santa Cruz and Louisiana to
Michigan! The colors have been counted, the numbers have been tallied, and here are the results:
Local:
1st place: UCLA (39 volunteers)
2nd place: USC (9 volunteers)
3rd place: Claremont Colleges (7 volunteers)
California (non-local):
1st place: Stanford (15 volunteers)
2nd place: UC Berkeley (10 volunteers)
Out of State:
1st place: Indiana University (6 volunteers)
2nd place: TIE! Boston University & Syracuse (2 volunteers each)

On Saturday, December 10th our "Winter Wonderlands" reading clubs will help warm the season. In addition to chilly and silly books, a visitor from the North Pole will ensure lots of festive fun.

Voting Program Terms and Conditions
To cast a vote for your favorite participating charity, visit one of these participating Chase branches: 8951 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, 7073 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, 2201 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, 11700 National Blvd, Los Angeles, 8985 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles or 100 N La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, between 10/8/11—11/19/11, during regular banking hours, and meet with a Chase representative. No bank transaction is required. Limit: One (1) vote per person, per week. Must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of California or Georgia to participate. Chase employees are excluded from voting. Void where prohibited. No proxy votes permitted. Identification may be requested. Winning organization is determined by verified votes cast. Ties will be resolved by agreed-upon terms between Chase and the participating organizations. All votes will be verified and counted by an independent judging organization.
