Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
This Saturday, August 13th, we go from the page to the silver screen with our "Movies and Books" reading clubs. This month's selections have all been made into movies, but we're here to celebrate the stories as they were originally written.
If you have signed up for the reading
clubs and you can't make it, be sure to
cancel online
(before 3pm Friday)
to open your spot for someone else.

SALSA UNDER THE STARS!
On Thursday, August 18th, join the Special Events Committee
and Reading to Kids volunteers
in downtown Burbank for a great time dancing in the streets to a salsa beat. Louie Cruz Beltran Latin Jazz Ensemble will provide the rhythms. Reading to Kids volunteers will meet at 7pm in front of the
AMC 16 in Burbank on Palm Street, between First Street and San Fernando. For more information about Downtown Burbank and the Come Out & Dance Events, check out their
