Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
It's almost time for carved pumpkins, crazy
costumes, and of course, the "Halloween, Mysteries, and Magic" Reading Clubs! The stories are spooky, the crafts are creepy, and the magic is simply magnificent. The kids love our October clubs
featuring magic shows, and you will too. Feel free to dress in your
school-appropriate Halloween finest.

LIVE TALKS LA WITH P.J. O'ROURKE ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7th
Reading to Kids is excited to be the beneficiary of a very special event
with Live Talks LA -- political satirist P.J. O'Rourke,
author of Don't Vote--It Just Encourages the Bastards, in conversation with
television correspondent and NPR commentator Judy Muller.
When: Thursday, October 7, 2010

pick up donated breakfast foods and/or purchase additional food
